Jennifer Bowen
Extension Agent, 4-H Youth Development
Jennifer graduated from Longwood University with a B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in Education. In her first job out of college, she worked as a Foster Care Recruiter/Trainer for the Virginia Department of Social Services covering Amelia, Buckingham, Charlotte, Cumberland, Lunenburg, Nottoway and Prince Edward Counties.
In 2000, Jennifer joined Virginia Cooperative Extension as the 4-H Extension Agent in Prince Edward County. In 2013 she was promoted to Senior Extension Agent. Following a family move, Jennifer transferred to Mecklenburg County in the fall of 2016.
Jennifer and her husband, Stuart, have two children, Mackenzie and Griffin.
